AI Nerd Network Scanner

AI Image Detector

Upload a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image and get an AI-generation probability score based on metadata fingerprints, dimensions, and known generator markers.

Upload an image to scan

Multi-pass free scan: naming, EXIF, metadata, JPEG quantization/DCT, hex/C2PA markers, explicit AI tags, dimension clues, and (after human review) a moderated reference pool — then aggregated into Likely AI + Certainty. 20 free scans per day, shared across all detection tools.

Your upload is checked for safety, analyzed, then discarded — max 4 MB. We do not keep images unless you send a verdict for review, or a safety review flags an upload for operators.

How image detection works

Many AI image tools embed workflow data in PNG chunks or use predictable output dimensions. We now run multiple free passes — naming, EXIF, metadata, hex/C2PA markers, explicit AI tags, and weak size clues — then aggregate them into a clear Likely AI number and a Certainty number.

Camera photos often include EXIF device data — a strong human-origin signal. When metadata is stripped, Certainty drops and results should be treated as indicative only.
