How image detection works
Many AI image tools embed workflow data in PNG chunks or use predictable output dimensions. We scan for those signals plus common metadata strings from Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, DALL-E, and similar generators.
Camera photos often include EXIF device data — a strong human-origin signal. When metadata is stripped, confidence drops and results should be treated as indicative only.
